The Amherst Railway Society partners with the Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts on rail fan trips. Amherst members receive member pricing on Mass Bay sponsored trips.

Laconia Limited – May 16, 2026
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the Massachusetts Bay Rail Enthusiasts are sponsoring an excursion trip between Laconia and Plymouth, New Hampshire on the Winniipesaukee Scenic Railroad.
The train leaves Meredith at 9:00 am and returns to Meredith at approximately 5:00 pm. It travels a scenic route along the shores of Meredith Bay, Paugus Bay, and Lake Waukegan.
Coach and parlor car seating is available. There is no food service on board, but box lunches are available if purchased in advance.
